NRL Footy - NRL Odds

It’s tough, challenging, intense, exciting, it’s Rugby League footy! And the best Rugby League competition in Australia is the NRL. NRL footy was founded in 1998, when the Australian Rugby League and the Super League combined to create the nation’s most professional and popular Rugby League competition. Since then it has grown from strength to strength, recognised all over the world for producing Australia’s top sportsmen and great viewing and betting action!

Taking place from autumn to spring, the NRL footy premiership competition begins with a 26 round standard season, in which the teams play off against each other over the weeks in matches held on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. The goal is to win as many games as possible, amassing the most competition points and elevating the team’s position on the Ladder Board. At the end of these 26 rounds, the top eight teams on the Ladder Board who have dominated the season matches, progress to the finals. The NRL footy finals consist of eight games played over three weeks, where the teams battle it out for the top two positions and the chance to play in the NRL grand final. The finals are sudden death playoffs, and two teams are eliminated every week. The grand final is then held on the first Sunday of October, and is the most highly bet on and anticipated NRL match of the year. Every team in the competition aim to play and win this decider and be named the season’s premiers, forever sealing their team in the NRL history books. And every NRL punter wants to have their bets placed on the winning team!
